Yesterday, 19th October, all TY's went into town in the morning. We came into school, got registration and got on the bus. It took about 45 minutes. First we went to the 'Bog Bodies' exhibition in the National Museum. It was really interesting to see the bodies that were preserved in bogs around the country for hundreds of years. Next, we went to the Yeats exhibition in the National Library, this was good for the TY's to visit as we will be studying Yeats for our Leaving Cert in two years. After the Yeats exhibition we made our way to Grafton Street and were let go for lunch. We all went to McDonalds then walked around the shops. Our last stop of the day was to the Abbey Theatre to see 'Juno and the Paycock' which is the play we read in English. The play was two and a half hours long but it was enjoyable to watch after reading the play. All of the actors and actresses in the play were really talented and all of us had fun watching. Everyone enjoyed the trip to town and we hope we can go on more trips throughout the year:)
Banba as Bob the builders won the fun walk yaaaay, we bet Fodla and Eriu and got a box of roses for the class. We ate them in maths class they were so nice. The fun walk was fun, we did our dance and then me and Aimee went and helped people cross the road hahaha. All the class was so happy that we bet Fodla!
